MicroAge Bathurst was officially opened in 1985 as a sales and service center introducing the benefits of emerging computer technologies to small and medium businesses in Northern New Brunswick.
Starting with a modest staff, one of whom was Paul Violette, MicroAge Bathurst grew its client base because of their reputation as a technology specialist and a premier service provider. In 1993 Paul acquired the franchise from the previous owners and continued in the evolution of providing quality service an products.
As office computing and the benefits of networking developed and the demand for technological expertise increased, Paul and his growing staff remained at the forefront of those developments. They made a commitment of listening and responding to their customers needs, and continuously pursued the latest industry certification from their Premier Partners.
Building on a reputation for providing knowledgeable advice, the company grew from the original location to employ a group of professionals with specialties in connectivity and internet securities. In 1999, MicroAge Bathurst moved into a new, modern and spacious sales and service location at 400 MacDonald Street. |
